Me too. They were half the price of the nearest competitor, didn't even blink at the modifications ( in fact, they said "Those sound sensible" ) and have been unfailingly polite and helpful, even when I cocked up the paperwork!

Mind you, the test of an insurer is how they deal with a claim. They're all good kids when it comes to collecting the money.

Only if you want a low low price, if its not garaged you pay a higher premium. Still cheaper than anyone else though, but it does have to be a second car

Edited to add: Highly recommended, I'm insured with them and it was so nice to deal with someone who understands TVRs

Does anybody have any experience how they deal with a claim?

I too was pleased by the quote but always wondered how a claim experience would be handled...

Well in June I did claim, not a large claim but never the less a claim which in my 20 years driving and claims experience was handled in the most fuss free effective, efficient manner possible. A huge gold star to the broker and underwriter and approved (TVR) repairer. i didn't even have to complete a form.... and i'm not easily pleased.

I guess they were a new entrant from the States into the 'Classic' world , so i'm not sure how long the competitive rates will last though, so far so good.

PS written before my renewal arrives !!!!!!!!!!

Yup- I've just bought a Chimaera (my first fast car), I'm 26 and i've just paid £230 with a £200 excess- which is crazy considering the best quote i got elsewhere was £1100.

Love the car, drove it back home last night- cheap insurance makes it seem even sweeter...
