Is there anyway of finding out how many Tuscan's are out there and details (colour, age, etc...) ?

I choose my Mk1 because it was the only one i had seen in that colour (RED). I would love to know how many more there are, can it be done ?

Mine is a Mk 1 2000 W Reg. Viper Blue Pearl.
I've only owned it since December last year.

From the other thread:-

2005 60 Convertibles of which approx 15 were 'S'
2006 45 Convertibles of which 35 were 'S'

So 50 'S's and 55 non 'S'

I have a Red Tuscan S Mk1 2001, Formula red I think. I also noticed that there are very few red Tuscans about and I wondered how many Red S were made. I saw a red MK2 S advertised in Top Marques last week advertised as the last one ever made!? Does anyone know the origin of the Red Tuscan S in the Smirnoff Christmas cracker ad?

Nice car Big Al. Tuscany, is your car mettalic red or like mine, which is sometimes referred to as Ferrari Red or Formula Red? You could put a pic on your profile like Big Al has done.

Also, I know because Peter Wheeler let it slip whilst i was eavesdropping that Red Tuscans are the fastest, apparently there is a chemical in red paint that reacts with speed six engines which increases horsepower by about 10%. Dont tell the blokes who have black ones as they are under the very misguided opinion that theirs are fastest! I think some of the red ones were oversprayed in black because they were originally considered too dangerous by the factory and it worked out cheaper than having to design upgraded brakes for the red ones!

Smirnoff Tuscan was borrowed new off the TVR Centres showroom floor then sold to a private buyer. Smirnoff on here from memory, although he sold it on.

Reflex purple ones are the fastest, wheeler told me so.

I think mine is the formula red too, but i have never seen another like it and liked the idea it was different from what is a limited market. However mine is just the 4.0l and not the 'S'. I still loved it though.

The Mk2 convertble used as TVRs press car was Formula Red, PO55 BKD , It was featured in EVO and Sir Jackie Stewart used it to teach Captain Slow how to drive on Top Gear.
