Hi hope you can help me. Just bought a 360F1 and would like to know were I can get hold of the vinyl aftermarket CS stripe. Ive located 2 suppliers in AUS and USA but would rather deal in UK. Appreciate any advice. Regards Joe

The point being... scratchchin

I would rather leave things as they are rather than making something look what it is not, but hey, each to its own.

Ah, congrats on your new car. Will give you lots of enjoyment.

fwiw, i'd leave stripe off the modena. challenge bbs wheels look good tho . they are 18" rims, unlike the cs 19s

they do fit - couple of the lads have them on. But you'll have to live with using standard steel bolts unless Trev's found a sensibly priced alternative..

Doesn't Hill Engineering make special high-grade SS bolts for these..?

jo5eph - leave the CS stripes for the real CS. All you have is people saying "oh there's a Challenge Straddali"... and you'll have to say when people ask.. ."erm, sorry dude, no its not".

;-)

On the real CS the stripes are painted on IIRC.

Well you live and learn. When I saw them at the factory I would have sworn they were painted on, but there you go.

You ought to know Tony, fair play.

True, but aircraft-grade SS is better than standard steel bolts if going aftermarket.

Do we not think that CS stripes on a normal car are a bit...well...naff?

Isn't it just a more expensive version of putting an M3 badge on your 318?

I recall a pic in the Ferrari Owners mag of a track day with a 360CS being followed by a 355 and a 348, all with CS stripes...hmmmmm.

360F1 is hardly a 'normal' car.
