I bet Hamilton would like him to try! If they take each other out, Lewis will be World Champion 
Schumacher failed to take JV out when Jacque won the title. That was such an obvious move that MS had his points taken away. Bit pointless at the end of the season though

I think FA is just a beaten man. Struggling with the realisation that he's not as great as he thought he was (having beaten Schumi 2 years on the trot, one could be forgiven), and hasn't got the mental capacity for humility...
I don't think he'd ever do a Schumi. I still think he is a pretty decent guy (who's not in F1 for the glory at all, only because he loves racing) he's just having a personal crisis of grandeur at the moment.
F1 magazine had it spot-on. In a nutshell they pointed out that FA had agreed to go to McLaren before Hamilton was confirmed. He expected to be number 1, but wasn't. He was ok with this, until he realised LH was a threat in testing, hence covert emails to PDLR to try and gain an edge and not report it to the team. Only when Ron Dennis refused to 'slow LH down' by Hungary, that FA threatened to release said emails. Then the confusion starts with RD reporting that to the Max Mosely, then FA saying there is nothing, MM believing RD over everything else, que RD and MM falling out and the rest is history etc... The only reason FA has had the edge over LH in the last few races prior to Fuji, was because of him no longer sharing car setup information with the rest of the team.
But deliberately take someone off the track who hasn't really deserved it or been forewarned of the punishment (just ruling out Senna-Prost in 1990!

)? Nah... would be funny though!I don't think FA will do any more than turn up and race. He's had a poor season, though to be second in the Championship isn't poor in my book, and he did struggle at the start with some poor choice moves on LH.
The comments I've read and heard had put him in a very bad light in my eyes, but after his very brief interview I saw after Japan he has risen in my estimations.
I would really love to see him and Lewis finish the championship within a point or two of each other and go on to battle it out next year in the same way, both at McLaren.

It might be just as interesting to have FA at Ferrari alongside Raik. That would settle a few things.There would be no point in Alonso taking out Hamilton though as he will then lose any slim reality of winning the title! I can't see him doing anything like that as he will lose that chance and also any respect that he may have from those around him and those watching. Good clean fight to the finish I feel with Hamilton ending up on top.

I agree that Alonso is getting a poor deal from the media right now, after all this is a guy who won 2 titles racing against Michael in probably the fastest car on the grid?
