Hi,
I am looking for a decent logo to be designed for my new company which is an online estore selling RC model Helicopters, planes and cars mainly. Its called Charged Up! and is currently in the progress of being built.
Does anyone know of anyone who can do this without the huge costs of a big company as i don't want to spend heaps to get it done.
Thanks,
Anthony

I *highly* recommend the work of Marcus Fletcher at Logic Red. http://www.logicred.co.uk
Please tell him I sent you, he is a friend of mine.

I can heavily recommend www.flashbooty.com
They did an excellent job for us - and as they are in the US, for the quality of the work they provide it is very cheap. I think ours was $300, and that wasnt a single one, they did 4 and from the chosen one 4 more derivations until we were more than happy.
They are also skilled animators and animated the logo for our website and this was part of the design - perfect if you are selling something that moves!

there is a site where you can post your request for a logo, costs about £ 10.00 to post it and then you set a prize amount for the winning logo, you decide how much to spend, I guess the bigger the prize the more the interest, you then get to see the craft of many more designers.
I think its called sitepoint, a search im sure will find it

I use Full Phat Design for some web-site work. Martin is a down to earth nice guy who is always willing to help and is very sharp too at getting things done. E-mail response is quick. His work is excellent. Most of the time when he gives you a draft of some work you don't need to edit them !
He also offers print work (maybe you will need stationary for your new business after the logo is designed?) which is www.fullphatprint.co.uk
His web design website is www.fullphatdesign.co.uk
Thumbs up too here.

Go to 'contests' & set one up. It you offer a decent amount of money the designs you will get back will be amazing
If you don't like any you don't pay. Simple.
