Just found this photo of Force's cage, is it me or can you spy 3 four leaf clovers sellotaped to seat?

Now I know his secret!

Or do I need new specs

Nah Luke... didn't you know, when he's not driving Funny Cars at three hundred some odd miles an hour, his hobby is pressing wild flowers ! hippylaugh

Are you sure they are four leaf clovers, and not shamrocks?

That would explain how JF once said he saw elves at 1000 feet.

It makes me wonder how anyone with that frame of mind gets anywhere near a Funny car.

Joe Amato always carried a 'lucky' rabbit's foot, sure plenty of other racers have supposedly lucky items

TBH Tog, i'd say they were very lucky for him!!

And loads of drivers do have either lucky charms, or certain ways of doing things that they feel will keep them safe

He's probably thinking that, but for his lucky charms, he'd be sat at the bar with Eric now.

Talking of the Chassis. I guess all the Fuel Altered and Funny car Drivers may be in for a chassis upgrade as I suspect the SFI will adopt the changes Force has done to his cars as mandatory, so we will proberbly see a change to SFI 10.1E and more than likely 10.2 as well!
