I saw the trailer for this last night. Looks like it has a nice long car chase with a rather spectacular looking 575 or 550!

I enjoyed Bad Boys with the 993 Turbo (correct?) so it looks like another good film!

edit: you can see the trailer HERE

I think Will Smith's character drove a 964 Turbo S in the first Bad Boys film.

Maybe too pedantic...but I was under the impression that Turbo Versions of the 964 are actually 965 models.
There are a couple of different cars used in the original film,,the main car used for stunts is a regular 965 with a few S add ons,,but is not a full S.
The real S you see in some shots was owned by the producer of the film.

...identified by the fact that the real Turbo S had black callipers and crested head rests, whilst the directors car had red callipers and std headrests....

If we wanted to get really anal, the car, I believe, was a 964 3.6 Turbo with the X88 performance pack. This isn't technically the turbo S, the turbo S was a tuned 3.3 turbo in what amounts to a wide bodied 964 RS. Very identifiable by the 2 ducts on the rear wings (which are asymmetric).

Jeez UV, have the hooker'n'coke fests dried up and you've had to take to reading 'History of Porker' books in your spare time?

Either way, it still didn't have any cupholders.

AHEM!

This is a Ferrari thread.... not a Porsche one!

Now... has anyone else seen the trailer? Looks like a good chase!

Cheers, Andy

Just saw this for the first time last night. Criminal I know, seeing as there's Ferrari's in it.

Did anybody else spot that it's a 575M that "Lowery" pulls up in outside, Marcus' house. But the actual car used in the chase scenes was a 550M. The size of the front grille and some of the shots of the wheels, gives the game away. Obviously, if worse came to the worst it would be cheaper to write off a 550 than a 575.

Blimey, I take my anorak off to you if that's true

Have you seen the out-take where the guy opens the Ferrari's door onto a bollard? Ouch

I think Rico, may have spotted it as well, looking back at the first post.

Not seen the outtakes. Are they on the DVD?

Same deal with the ferrari in this one. one was the directors car but when the other dude(martin lawrence) gets out by the concrete bollard he actually hith the door so they hired another 550 in to finish the movie.
