My company has to move premesis in the next 18 months
and we are considering buying instead of renting. What
are the rules for this. I have been told £100k has to
be put up. ie no 95% mortgages for commercial property.

Thanks

You would only need to put up £100K if the property was £400K+ as the loan-to-value ratios are usually 75-80% on commercial properties. Interest rates are usually 2% over base but I can get better than that if the circumstances fit.

If you are serious then my company can help as we are a commercial mortgage specialist. Feel free to give us a call for advice, our details can be found here: http://www.kingswoodassociates.co.uk/
