520d MSport E60

My 520d runs like a tractor! I haven't owned a diesel before but I've driven a few and travelled in lots.

By comparison, my car, a facelift '07 with 6k miles on the clock, runs very roughly below 2k revs and on a light throttle at 2k revs judders very noticeably - it's also bloody noisey! So in traffic it really is proving to be an awful driving experience.

It's been back to the dealership twice now - first visit, no fault found, second visit resulted in a new 'DDE' (!?) and new software map.....result.....as bad as ever.

Is it just me or are they all like this?

Plus the interior rattles and creaks........oh how I miss my E39 525i...

Anyone had a similar experience, can it be fixed, do I just keep taking it back?

I have the same engine in my 120d, it's quiet, smooth and goes like a train, so I suspect there is something amiss with yours
