If your buying a Cerb you need to do your homework first, not with an hour to go on the auction !!
And as a Cerb owner I'm not going to give any negative comments about a fellow Cerb owners pride and joy.

I think at that price you could take a chance on it with only "seconds" to go to end of aucion.
Plus the guy has posted here for advice, he was not asking for negative comments just helpful impartial advice....your post was boll...xs, I for one hope he won it.

Trouble is mate the Auction had finished by the time you woke up and opened your mouth.

RDWKurt took my point like a man, so credit to him. Maybe he did buy it, but if not, I hope it's kindled an interest in Cerbera's, and if it has, then he will now do some homework, learn about the car, and buy himself a decent one.

So what advice would you have given him about a Speed 6 with 67k on the clock?

FWIW, I thought Jensen's post was spot on.

He's done the guy a favour.

Does he know that a rotten chassis going to cost himself £4k, knackered speed 6 engine £6k, clutch £1k, decent set of shocks £1.5K, I wont even start on the niggles list.

The guy could of been walking in to a £12.5k bill.

I wouldn't pay £7k "blind" for a Cerbera.

I would have offered him more advice than you did if I had seen the post earlier.I think he was polite in his reply to you after you offered him no help whatsoever,at no point did he ask for negative comments about a fellw Cerb owners car.
Also a potential Cerb owner today is a fellow owner tommorrow.
Maybe if he had have bought it you could have told him (just after it blew up) that he should have checked it had a couple of rebuilds along the way, preferably a recent one,and all the other stuff us Cerbera owners know about but wont dis a mates car even if he filled the engine with STP and the gearbox with bacon rhind.
"you should have checked mate its buyer beware you know" rolleyes

Settle down girls. We're all enthusiasts.

Perhaps all Kurt needed was a pointer to some previous threads giving advice or just "interested in Cerb" to be put in the search engine.

How's your back Russ ?

Hi Paul, I went in Monday night, had a drip fitted & bloods etc..Woke up on Monday, saw the consultant, and we agreed my ankle's working better than it was, so they cancelled the op.

Got to go back in six weeks, to see if it's improved anymore.

I couldn't get out of the place quick enough...I was 5hitting bricks smile
