If practice is at 10am, and the actual ride in the evening, then you (in theory) will have plenty of idea where the course will go surely?

Afterall, I can't see them closing ALL the steps in Edinburgh during the day for practice just so people can't find out where they are going.

Bit OT, but was up there earlier in the week for a few days, some lovely long steps down off the Royal Mile, those MTB bunch must have balls of steel!
