Its for a kiddie seat in the front, we have no handbook.

If its the old model then it isn't something which can be done yourself.

Take it to the dealer, hand them around £250 & they'll spend a couple of minutes on it & voila ..........

I thought it was odd on a 'family' based car that there was not a switch to turn them off. Still, easy money for them I suppose.

sadly BMW quoted me £750 for the pleasure. I gave up bought a bigger car in the end. Seemed totally ridiculous that you have to reprogram the software in what is as was mentioned a familya car!

Thanks, It`s my mates car, good news passed, they will have to use the 996tt instead
