Thanks, well done and bad luck to TVR for finally making it to Le Mans, but getting bumped-out early. The cars looked great, and I gather they were the fastest of the GT class at 190 mph down the Mulsanne Straight.

Thanks, also, to De Walt. I vaguely remember they sponsored Morgan, last year, but really was not aware of the company before. However, as Tony Connor said in Sprint, "I'll never buy a Black & Decker again".

I'm sure we all wish to get TVR back to Le Mans next year, where they are bound to have benefited from this year's experiences, as well as not being subject to restrictions because they had not produced enough production cars.

I imagine continued financial backing will be key, so how about we all pledge to buy De Walt whenever they produce a power tool we need - at least, for as long as backing is continued!

I'm signing up for it anyway.

De Walt does make some excellent tools. I've got a De Walt drill which by far the best power tool I've ever owned and totally un-burstable. They may be twice the price of Black & Decker but worth every penny.

Im pretty sure DeWalt is the trade division of Black & Decker, so in effect they are owned by the same company. But who cares, it was great to see the cars at Le Mans & lets hope for great things in the future.

They are Richard Stanton's sponsers.

Hence on his 2000 Challenge Tuscan, 2001 tuscan R, 2002 Moggie and 2003 T440R.

He's a builder by trade so that's the link.

BTW: Handy Any from Changing rooms swears by De Walt tools!

I have Makita and a De-Walt drills for my job both are 12v the Makita is lighter and better balanced but the DW is beeter for ripping into the body panels of BMW's when fitting body mount ariels
I will let you know which one packs up first

I am a bit of a power tool nut, and I always buy DeWalt
favourite bit of kit is 5 piece 18v cordless set. Great stuff.
