How do you get the bonnet open, if the bonnet release cable won't work . It has decided to play up. At least it didn't do this last night when I was showing my SEAC off at the Surrey TVR Club Meet.

Also, if the catch or cable needs replacing anyone know what they are from.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

keep turning the handle through 180 and then try pulling it

Wow what a prompt service.
Yes it pulls like usual, about an inch and a half, but then comes to a stop without activating the release and can't be pulled any further.

I'll leave it tonight, drown my sorrows and have another go tomorrow evening.

If the catch is the same as a 280/350 it's from a Ford Fiesta.

I'm sure your bonnet looked a bit loose - so it might
be possible from the drivers side to lift it a little
and pull the bonnet release cable outer on the
bulkhead... might !

Give it a go.

Mine won't pull straight back, there is a knack.
Try pulling slightly down and back and it works a treat.

Mines long and hard.

Needs a damm good pull every now and then - I usually
get the girlfriend to do it - as she likes to
do it...

Yes, open at last. Deleted my last post as best not to put too much detail on open forum. Thanks for everyone's advice .
