Hello

I have to start by admitting to being seduced by the GT40 so am shortly taking delivery of an RCR40. You may well know that this is an alloy monocoqe chassis with some pretty neat alluminium suspension components. There are a few builds underway in the UK but none have been SVA'd to date. Simple question. The Brembo handbrake calipers which you guys use look an excellent solution. However the RCR has 1.25" wide (320mm)rotors, will the caliper span this?

Respect to you all for an excellent forum

The AP disks on the Ultima are 30mm thick so I would guess they would fit 31.75mm.
Thr Brembo caliper is nice and works well. In my recent MOT test the handbrake was returning the same brake effort as the rear main brakes (brake balance etc.)

Steve

Thank you for prompt reply (I added a zero to the width! As you point out 31.75mm is right) It does seem as if they will work, which is good news. Also impressed with the stopping power you achieved as the handbrake on my GD427 is marginal.

Best

John
