Cant see the B&W version, but the colour looks immense. Where was that taken and with what settings?

The pic that we can see (half colour/half B&W) is simply stunning!

Colour, by a country-mile ! wink

The contrast on the b+w is nice though, might try using the b+w to control the luminosity of the colour ? Just a thought smile

Prefer the B&W one myself, bit more mood.

Not sure how you did your B&W conversion, but I liked it with a Red channel from the channel mixed and a black to white gradient, or maybe even a duotone gradient..

Two votes for the colour one from the Pod & RG household..!

Colour one may even take a bit more saturation..?

B&W is still a cracker, but it's just missing *something* (but damned if I know what!)

I think the foreground is overpowering the mountain

Thats part of the reason i mentioned using the b+w version to drive the luminosity of the colour version. It should stabilise the image and may in-fact draw more attention to the mountain.
(Looks like it would add a fair amount more 'texture' to the foreground also, that may or may not be desirable smile but a gradient mask would sort that no problems smile)
