Mate of mine just called. He was awoke at about 4am and thought that his neighbours were either being attacked, having a blazing row, or similar.
In fact, from the words that the girl was screeming at the lad, it was just very noisey 'enthusiastic' 'bedroom antics' as you might say.
However, after 2 hours of screeming at the top of her lungs, you wonder if this as actually acceptable. And what do you do about it?

Not the first time it's happened apparently, though from what he says never as vocally as last night! and never at that time of the morning.

Just start screaming back in unison. That'll shut her up!

Subtle conversation with the participants when he just happens to encounter them in the local hostelry, will determine if they are up for a threesome or quartet ensamble, which solves the problem by being included in the frenetic activities and then he will not give a s**t about being kept awake all night.

If you can pop next door and ask him how he manages 2 hours can you post his answer?

Eearplugs.

Sounds like a screamer (or an over-enthusiastic faker). She'll grow out of it.

Attach microphone to yer hi-fi and place speakers out of the window for the whole neighbourhood to hear - like in the scene from the film MASH

i'll mention that to him. Would be funny letting everyone hear, although apparently it's not gone unnoticed with other neighbours as they like to have the window open. He's the other side of the wall however.

I just asked my housemate if he'd mind closing his window when he's jumping his girlfriend as wel can all hear what they are upto. Never heard anything after that.

Best to just talk to them next time he sees them.

Maybe even sell them on a "Dial a Noisy Housewife" 0909 xxx xxxx type number!

Pop a card through the letterbox so they can pay to listen to themselves.

Best way...embarasses them into silence, and just maybe they won't have as much fun in future, so the OP won't have to be so jealous!
