Guys, Im looking for a particular image that I can use as a basis for a tat, but having spent all morning on google, I cant find a good version.

What Im after is a head on view of the start line, showing the tree and both cars, doesnt matter what cars, altho pro mods or 'slammers would be great.

This screen shot shows the angle, but quality is very poor.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Yea, I know, that did cross my mind. Just thought somewhere out there may be a staged (excuse the pun) pic.

Although I reckon Rog is probably brave enough..... yes

As already said, that place is a no-no zone to take pictures. The only time this year I have seen any sort of stills setup taken from that position, was quite an impressive setup (operated remotely, by someone in the press office or race control) which was installed at Mantorp (on raceday, I think) by Swedish pro photographer Stefan Bowman. I have no idea what the results were like, but knowing Stefan, they would be good.

Someone, I think Brian Johnson, set a camera up in a similar position at SPR at the 2002 Thunderball so there must be some shots kicking around. Unfortunately the camera got wiped out, along with the Christmas tree, by Roger Moore in his Herald. I'm sure Tog will know more detail.

Now, anyone any good with photoshop able to remove the floppers out of the below pic and put the 2 pro mods in ?

Or should I just get my coat and leave quietly ?

Where are you having it done Mark ? You can't be too far from me so if you're after a recommendation go and see Jim at Triple Ace in Bedford (Castle Road). He's car mad (likely to be in Street ET next year), quality work and I'm sure will do you a good price. Tell him I sent you.
