These are great old cars - I've been thinking about getting another TE and the possibilities of putting the lump from a 190 Cosworth under the bonnet.

This months Merc Enthusiast Mag has an article about a chap in Devon who fits V8 engines and boxes from 560 SEC's into W123's - apparently apart from having to manufacture special engine mounts and relocate the cooling fan its pretty straight forward (as engine conversions go !)

Its worth a read ....
