Tax accounted needed – EIS
Discussion
Any hot tax accountants out there (south east area) with a good understanding and experience of the Enterprise Investment Scheme
I invested in a company under the scheme in 2005 and then again (2nd tranche) last year (2006)
The company has now gone bust (last tax year 2006) and under the terms of the scheme I should be able to get 40% of my loses back.
However I know these things (getting money from the tax authorities) is never easy so looking for someone that has done it before to mange the process for me.
One complication is the 2nd tranche of investment was never correctly logged with company’s house (by the inept company directors) and before it could be the company got wound up. I spoke to the tax office at the time and they said just put it all in writing when you fill in your tax return and we will evaluate it accordingly.
Therefore need someone who can present the best case first time.
Kind regards
