for this Friday. going to try out a Gix 760 and a Superduke. Already test rode the Speed triple a few weeks ago. loved that

Now I have 1 question. As I was probably not going to use my fazer as much in the winter months and given that I get a good price Should I part ex the bike say in the next few weeks if i like one of the bikes I have test ridden.

Only thing is I'm not sure how much I could get for my FZS 600 Fazer? its a 03 reg but 01 model. 6900 miles. I bought it with 3900 miles last Nov. i'm the 3rd owner. its in very good condition apart from a small scratch on the lrft hand tail unit. got a Fuel exhaust ( should I sell that private and put on the original I have) MOT'ed June and next service in due Nov.
Has FSH datatool alarm, crash bungs, and I in very good condition. SO what may I get part ex?

any idea

I think you will pretty much always get a better deal selling privately. I suppose it depends on how quickly you want to get rid vs the difference in ££.

Will be waiting eagerly for the superduke review, I'd love one as my next bike but don't know if i can bring myself to go naked. Does that worry you at all given that you're considering a fully faired bike as well??

I suppose if you don't commute on the bike its not such a big deal.

well I use my bike daily to and from work but its only a few miles I have to travel. I enjoyed my Speed triple test ride and was not bothered about no fairing. I prefer naked bikes at the moment and only really test riding the gix as I want to see if I like the sports bike riding position

But I will report back when I have doen the test ride

I've just done a deal to change my speedtriple for a tuono, there are some great deals around 3k to trade up from my 04 15k miles trip to a brand new 07 tuono with optional 4 year warranty for an extra 140 quid!
Get a test ride you won't be disappointed.
