Well in 3 years it has gone from this....

To this....

Not exactly the fastest progressing car on the planet but at least the chassis work is pretty much all done.

I'm all excited as I know it will be coming home soon so I can build me an engine with some power!

Looking good, keep us updated. I used to have a Mk1, a '69 pre-facelift, I've always had a soft spot for them!

Time to move on I'm afraid. After nearly 13 years with the Camaro, now we've won the title she's kind of achieved everything she can. We need a full tube car now if we're to successfully defend our number 1 plate, she's a big girl to try and get away from the startline and after the performances shown in recent events by a certain yellow Scorpio we're going to need to be deep in the 7.50's next season.

It'll be gut wrenching to see her go though frown

If anyone wants a piece of drag racing history, a proven winner and the quickest and fastest non-tube car in Europe though give the old man a bell (kirk.family@btconnect.com)biggrin

It's going to be a road car mainly, i'll do a few runs on the strip and try and improve my times but I don't intend to do any racing or compete with it. A project more than anything.

Still want to get into the 9s though if possible.

Hi EscortHeads !
This just got imported from sweden to germany,
did 9secs on a "not for the RWYB" non-prepped track.
The driver will enter it into S/G, maybe S/C next year.

That escort is awesome, but I couldn't change the shape of it like they have, doesn't look right. I'd love to see it run though!

Any idea of the rough horsepower, spec of the car?
