....so finally I pick up the new motor tomorrow.... woohoo

Currently it has a nice new set of SP12 alloys on it but I cant help thinking I prefer the look of the orignial spiders.

Whats the word on the street .....

I have to say I prefer the spiders, they suit the car much better. Not sure what it is about the SP12's they just look like the wrong design for the car. Lot's of people ditch the spiders because they are not the toughest wheel in the world.

are you buying the black 350 on here? looks a good un, but I prefere the spiders. There is a guy on here with a black tamora with sp12's though that looks awesome!

Madbadgers Black Tam with anthracite SP12's looks cool. And I've seen a new guy with a light metallic blue Tam with sliver SP12s that look good.

But... decided to stay with the play doh spiders myself. They just suite my car perfectly.

Anyone reading this in the alloy wheel business? Wanna manufacture some resiliant spiders? Reckon there could be a reasonable market.

iv got anthracite sp12's on my car now, at first i wasnt too sure but they have grown on me and im happy now! smile

i think they make the car look more 'race ready' or 'traditional' than the spiders.

Cheers Guys.

I originally went for the SP12s for the weight, rather than the looks. + the additional strength over the spiders.

I definately noticed the weight difference - all 4 SPs are the weight of 3 spiders, and 18 months on South Yorkshires finest roads have not managed to bend the SPs so I'm happy with the robustness, too.

The look of the wheels will always be subject to opinion, but they have definately grown on me. I think it is the 'original' look of the spiders on the Tam that gives them their appeal.

Has anyone tried 19" rims instead rotate
Thought I saw some on a T350 at Chatsworth this year, with tyres 265/30.19, or would this upset the handling spin

think it would scuff on the arches and make it handle like poop

I had the wheel sabove in 19" on my T350t, rear tyres were 255/30/19, front 215/35/19, no clearance problems at all. They are called Jordan, try Vogue International.

Any handling/grip gains or losses between these lower profiles and the standard tyres? Have heard rumours 19" rims were to become an option on the new Sag
