New biker here passed early last month and have just bought myself a brand new SV650S. Absoluetly loving it so far, i was just wondering are their any PH'ers based in wales around the barry/cardiff area who would be willing to possibly come out for a spin and teach a new guy some of the tricks of the trade? Realised once i had passed and picked up my bike i pretty much know nothing and now is when i really start to learn. Anyways thanks for any replies or just looking.

Enjoy your new bike but start to be aware of road conditions in the winter. Greasy roads after a dry spell then a downfall of rain, diesel spillage from trucks, wet iron works ie drain covers and general road debrit.

Just be easy on the power on the bends and don't anchor down to hard.
Hone your skills ready for next summer when the roads are dry with sticky tarmac. Yipeeeeee!

Welcome! I was born in Cardiff, but that's not going to help you much as I was 3 when I left and barely managing a tricycle!
