I managed to get slightly airborne whilst playing with an M3 earlier!

The M3 also demonstrated how useful driver aids are, he clearly had his foot buried in the floor through a section I just had to lift on to avoid leaving the road!

I was merrily losing a super bike over the weekend when I remembered the wallowing around some of the corners was due to the fact I still haven't taken the car back to get the Intrax fitted yet hehe

He still couldn't keep up and trust me he was trying, big thumbs up at the junction 3 miles on thumbup

I know scary isnt it, I had a little play with a new Audi RS4 last weekend, all was going well up until silly speeds and my bonnet decided to lift up about a foot! Saying that the car did feel like it was going to take off anyway so it was a good excuse to back off without losing face :-)

Did you have the bonnet catch locked? If I forget to lock mine then it lifts at about 85 - 90 leptons.

Having said that, I did break a bonnet pin at 180 and have since had to upgrade to leven tech alloy pins instead of those crappy OEM plastic ones

On the run out to Spa on Saturday a 911 Turbo owner decided to pick on the group. I was in the Audi and I could do no better than 155mph, then M3John took him on and failed at about 160mph, then Alex took up the gauntlet and failed to catch him (guessing about 165mph) in his Tuscan.

Then we let the big guns loose. Looking in my mirror I saw Grahamn coming from waaaaay back in hot pursuit. He passed us in a flash and eventually chased him down at circa 180mph. Good man! Cerbs do the business again smile

I didnt stay for the trackday today as Ive no engine in the Cerb and said I wanted to do it in the Cerb rather than the Audi (although I did spank it round the Ring until I lost 3rd gear paperbag which isnt the story I told Audi this morning hehe) and having gone to Spa for the Classics on Saturday & Sunday, I cant wait to get there at some point soon. The place is FANTASTIC! For those who havent been, you wont believe (certainly not from the TV) how steep the hill into and out of Eau Rouge is! I dont think I could walk up it without a rope and some climbing boots! yikes

I did get a hot lap in BossCerb's Diablo VT round the Ring yesterday. I enjoyed myself so much I got out the car with a 'woody' hehe

I MUST have one of those one day (a Diablo, not a 'woody'...I get them all the time paperbag)

Similar thing Kostas, except its with Austec and we caught it before it actually went bang (not timing chain, thought to be pistons, but will know for sure soon). Missing the old bastard like mad though frown
