Just changed my Audi A6 2 tdi for a new 520d M-sport......I've only done 100 miles, and already I can tell its leagues above the Audi.
Just wondered the best to way "liberate" some more horses without upsetting the Warranty Police ?

I had my E60 530d chipped the day I bought it. Had an ECU changed by BMW under warranty on my chipped 320d too. Both done by superchips and no complaints.

Go to a reputable tuner who is insured for a start. If anything does go wrong with a warranty claim the places that are insured will cover you.

Go to somewhere with a dyno and is a known quantity for using it properly. I have seen a handful of BMW's not put anywhere near the power claimed after a remap and generally speaking the BMW oil burners will put down over stock power most of the time.

Not all remaps are equal and price is also not a good indicator of quality.

So anyone got any feed back on re-maps then. E.g. if all are not equal and cost is not a good way of telling then anyone got some guidance how to choose?
