Best Online place to buy 40D

[Gulliver911]

I was about to buy a 40D from B&H in New York, since my company has an office closeby, i could have someone hand carry at a later stage.

However to my great surprise, looking at a 40D and 17-85 IS, the difference with UK prices is not that great at all, probably saving only 80 squids or so.

I am amazed as i really assumed teh $ difference would make it a better proposition.

Is that everyone's experience as well ?

For 80 squids, probably better buying in teh Uk with warranty and immediate delivery.

What would be the best place to order online in the Uk ? Amazon seems to have good prices.

Bear in mind that, unlike lenses, Canon warranties on bodies are not worldwide.
