Between xmas & new year....... around the 29th/ 30th!

The PH Brewery Raid 2007

Iceni Brewery - Thetford - Shop, Hop garden, brewery, Cafe.
Tas Valley Vine Yard - Attlebough - Shop, Tour
Norfolk Cider - Wroxham - Wroxham barns - Lots to do

I could book us in and sort out a nice mixed route from one to the other?

P.S. its not just Beer & Cider!

If it's dry and there's no trace of salt on the road, then yes, I would be up for that smile

Can I suggest indoor stuff?wink The brewery sounds good drunk

Up for this as well, same proviso as gtr-gaz. This would be a great relief from the usual lethargic activities we all seem to go through at this time of the year. Your suggestions look good for the PH festive day out, I'll leave it to others who know the areas better than me to come up with the best run choice. Looking forward to it.

If I'm not doing anything over that week I'll be up for it!

Not fussed about weather, just as long as its not inches of snow etc....

Hi all

My first posting in the regional forum wavey

WildWesty, I remember your heads up over in SELOC re: the autumn run but it was too close to the Lotus 40th for me to be able to abscond for a second day ;0)

I could be interested in a blat out and around BSE over Xmas - dependant on family commitments etc. so count me in as a possible at this stage.

Regards,
Lee

Griffs don't do snow - if I tried it you'd find me being pulled out of a hedge by Mark's Forester!

I'm up for this. I don't intend to do many winter miles in the Rallye but I can make exceptions for cider houses and breweries!

Woodfordes isn't far from Wroxham by the way, along a lovely sweeping (if a little short) B-road. There's a roundabout at each end too so we could have a few runs at it to make up for it's shortness wink

Hi There

Could'nt make it the Coast run in the end....... sorry. Looked like a great day was had by all.

As for the Xmas run................. don't think so. The Lambo does'nt like temperatures above 30 c or below 10 c let alone wet or the dreaded white stuff. Sorry - I would spend the day spinning round in circles!!!

Any runs out before then?

Regards

Neil

Doesn't like those temperatures, even with German precision?!

And no wet or white stuff conditions with 4WD....the ideal candidate to remove TVRs from ditches, I'm sure winkhehe

I hate the long drawn out period between xmas and new year - I'd be up for that - whatever the weather - lets face it we don't seem to have proper snow these days anyway.... But just in case every winter I fit snow tyres to her Polo

So if it's snowing I'd be up for some fun in that - if not it'll be the LC or the 7 if there is a lot of salt around seeing as Vauxhalls rust proofing wasn't improved by Lotus involvement!!!

Last car I ditched was a Talbot Sunbeam!

The problem with TVRs (or Jags for that matter) is not the power but wide tyres that don't bite. As for the Jag (or any other heavy limo) ABS is useless on snow and you can have very silly, needless accidents even at walking pace. There's quite a slope past my front door and so if the car won't go up that, it stays put! I'm as happy on a skid pan as anyone else but trying to negotiate a narrow, sloping, curved road on a housing estate with cars parked randomly along both sides can be rather a lottery...
