Caparo T1 burst into flames at Brunters - says he will race at the weekend. No comment from Caparo as yet.

yikes I've been in a burning car this year and its not nice !!!! fortunetly I didnt get burnt. Sounds like Plato had a lucky escape. Lets hope he's ok for the btcc round

Blimey, that sounds nasty.

I find it quite incredible that they didn't have medics on scene or even a major incident plan detailing where medical facilities were.

Good luck to Jason for a full recovery.

Bit of a bugger if it hands the title to Giovanardi on Sunday.
