I have a 2006 Honda Civic Type R and im wanting the same BHP as a S2000 and an Integra how is this possiable? Ive spoke to various people and they've mentioned remapping but would this mean changing valves, cams and pistons. How much would this kind of job cost?

Might it not be cheaper to sell up and get a JDM CTR, or even dare I say it, a teg or S2000? biggrin

The K20A2 is already a highly tuned engine, so it's not easy. You're going to need a good intake, manifold, and exhaust, plus a re-map with Hondata K-Pro or similar.

240bhp (S2000) is achievable, but will likely take cams.
220bhp (ITR) is relatively easy without touching the internals!

The other option is forced induction, but that's kind of cheating with a Honda!!biggrin

Wait a couple of months an buy an S2K (unless insurance/nickability/personal heft is getting in the way) - otherwise you will end up splashing a lot of cash for not a huge benefit and precious little chance of getting it back. Different gravy, engine wise.

Otherwise by an E46 M3 (and a lot of warranty, maybe, or a vial of luck virus).

Thank you. It's a bit tatty round the edges, but i'll never own a garage queen.

That kinda power would need an LS7 in there. I am tempted biggrin

If you see me about, no worries on a ride. Needs a bit of TLC at the moment though.
