Typical of 'Easy' customer service. They seem to have a habbit of treating customers as people to do battle with. I only use Easyjet when it is very, very much cheaper than BA. I'd happily pay £50 *not* to use Easyjet. It's not the no-frills I displike, it's the no-smiles. They have an attitude that because it's cheap it ought to be unpleasent.

"An ex-employee was apparently to blame" - I presume is he/she is now an ex-employee as a direct result of this?

Seriously I have to make use of rival 'budget' airline Ryanair on a regular basis because they are the only operator to my required destination and I have to say that they are not as bad as easyjet at the moment but are closely following in their footsteps.

It makes me 'smile' that a flight that can be offered for £40 return (before taxes) for 70% of the year (so must still be making some kind of profit by my logic) can suddenly cost £240 because we're now in the summer. I know that airlines are famous for employing 'loss-leaders' but surely this is just a blatant rip-off, unless a plane's fuel consumption increases due to torrential rain?!

Dead right about the airfares but its the same for self catering holidays whether here or abroad.

You have kids and so you have little or no choice but to go at maximum rates!

Whatever happened to customer service or service with a smile? They seem to be doing you a favour taking the money off you.
