Having an ensuite built from walls up and fitted out

Allsorts of tradesmen in the house but one thing in common.

They all drink tea, milk, no sugar like its their last one! hehe

Oh I long to be a tradesman

Those days of selecting a figure from the sky and popping it in a quote rolleyes

7 years time Ill be self employed and fitting bathrooms, tiles and plastering if you want a piece of me hehe

Tell me about it - just had a quote for a new patio.
£25/sq m for the stone & £50/sq m to lay it (Thats the winter price sir, in summer it's £60)

I've 160sq m to lay yikes


Looks like I'm gonna be busy.....

You see, when we go to college to learn our trades, part of the training consists of sucking air through our teeth, looks of concern and sympathy with lots if top side arithmetic calculations and most importantly Olympic style training in the art of tea drinking and biscuit eating.coffee

You’d be amazed what difference a good tea spot will make to the job, if you feed and water the tradesman, you usually get a better job, more respect and things thrown in for free. A bad tea spot usually results in a rush to move on.

lol, I went through 4 pints of milk, 1/4 jar of coffee and 80+ teabags and lord knows how much sugar last week making drinks for the 3 guys replacing our roof.
