Hello to all, can you help? Im needing a set of front and rear tires as a mock up to a body buck im going to be building. Anything around 245/35zr18 front and 335/30zr18 rear….so if you are set for a tire change im happy to buy your old ones of you

I have a set of rears in good nick, just no tread. Off the car and ready for collection. Fronts will be available in another 10K miles!!

am I write assuming, that the tires you want to buy don´t have to have profile left but you just need them for damping ? To be honest I didn´t understand what a body buck is (I´m german and that vocable is very new to me )....I ask, because I know another german GTR-Owner who has a complete set of tires which aren´t usable for driving as one front and one rear tire has been damaged when mounting and are losing air....

By the way..I have a pair of 245/35/ZR18 both 5mm profile left, but the right one has a flat-spot....see my yesterdays´ thread http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

A body buck is the early stage of a car design and will most likely be clay (the stuff you make pots or plates out of).
An amature builder will make it out of wood, wire mesh, plaster or just about anything you can form into a car shape.
It is easier to see what the final thing will look like if it has wheels.

Thank you for the response, all going well I am hoping to get the rears of luckp, as for the fronts 225/40 18s are a little small in my range but thanks thevet if i have trouble getting the fronts I will be in contact, thanks.
Ivjost, thanks for your reply, a ‘body buck’ or ‘plug’ is just as steveD says, wheels would be ideal but finances are not there yet, a centre lock design makes for expensive wheels  Germany will not be cost effective for me getting the tires but thanks, sorry to hear about the 100m lock up!OWW
Andygtt again a great car, progress is looking very good and body beautiful, im using an m70 v12 like you g50 box with bespoke chassis, uprights and suspension. We e-mailed a couple of years back but I ended up losing your details and AOL page, great to see its going so well :-)

I have a set of tyres from a Ultima Sport(yoko's) rears 315 x 17 x 45 front 245 x 16 x 40.

Fronts have good tread, rears nearly illegal.
