Has anybody else had major dramas getting paint made up? It's probably no so bad for Monaro owners as it'll be readily available under the Vauxhall guise but have and of the HSV guys had problems? Everywhere I go seems to panic at the sight the Aussie beast.

I have found one guy that has done his best but it's not ideal. I have a couple of deep scratches across my back bumper and stone chips on the front that I want to sort out but getting a match is harder than first thought.

It's Diablo Red code F112. Red being the ultimate pain to match anyway! What about the Tiger Mica cars, surely that's a hard one too. Anybody had any work done?

The Sikkens website (paint manufacturer) lists all the aussie GM colours. So, providing your painter can source sikkens paint it shouldn't be a problem matching, or at least no more so than any other car.

Thanks. Des is a bit far away, but still good for advice I guess. I managed to find a formula for BASF Glasurit line 22 but nobody seems to use that bar coachworks etc.

I will try the Sikkens website.

Cheers

I did my GTS woody in R-M paint i was repping for at my bosses bodyshop ,tiger mica in the red shade and colour match was spot on. most paint systems have got Holden on now so it shouldn't be too much of a drama for any GOOD painters to sort. But in saying that did check on a Standox paint pc and found they didn't have the red shade on it,so ask them to check first or you might end up with a two tone on ya hands....
