i have listed my car on ebay and he contacted me today looks like he thinks its worth 30k i am sure it was bought from ebay a while ago and there was a story about it on here
depends on the build quality really some very and i mean very very good replicas can command that money but they have to be as close as perfect, yes the benefit is not having the service costs or the parts problems etc, yet you still have the problem of how good was the build? what state is the wiring in> fuel lines? suspension etc? personally until all those questions are answered would you be happy? i know i wouldnt, my esprit is meticulosly clean, the engine bay is spotless and you can see everything for inspection etc, i would want that of any kit car, also i personally would take it to someone to be professionally inspected.
i dont think those seats are right, i remember the countach seats being more slim, less padded and the centre padding being in square pads also.
he may think its worth that, but its only worth what someone will pay for it in the end, also there is the issue of is it registered right? if not then it can be refused at an mot station, there was a big write up on this on many kit car forums, there was an amnesty a while ago but its ended now and as such would need a new sva test to get it re-registered correctly otherwise its the "Q" plate.

Is there any chance you could rename your thread
what's this lambo replicrap

worth apart from about £3.16 and a packet of very cheap fag baccy?
Why can't people just build there own cars if that's what they want to do - why build dire piles of b

and I really hope you aren't really going to take it as part-ex for your Ferrari!

other thing is the rear lights look odd, the engine is only going to be a rover v8 probably, good engines in themselves but not for this, i would expect something like an eidlebrock v8 in there at least for the real pull and power. the dials are not lambo dials, most builders wouldnt use anything other than real lambo dials, momo pedals for gods sake!! non genuine steering wheel.. list goes on.. its all a bit wierd really.

Sorry but are you actually kidding me?
You want to px your Ferrari for a shitty replica? Get your act together.
I'd rather have a "shitty replica" than some boring Eurobox... You want to px your Ferrari for a shitty replica? Get your act together.

Not all kits/replicas are pieces of junk, and this one looks pretty good - at least it's not based on an MX-5!

Even if it is a good one though, I still wouldn't take it for that F512M
Must. not. be. tempted. The OP's a trader right?
If so, the Ferrari 512M is surplus to requirements, the cash is being put together to fund the 430 Scud purchase, he can do a deal on the replica and get some mug to buy it afterwards for a profit then why not?
I don't think it's just a straight swap deal with the extra cash going to him.

I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ANYONE WHO USES CAPITAL LETTERS TO GET HIS POINT ACROSS.

TBH Steve, just looks like one problem solved by another problem.
I can't see the replica being easy to shift and as your in the trade I'd have thought you'd have know that.
I am sure we can get you some finance for it, the rag and bone man will be along shortly........
