About 3am at Hunaudieres. Out of the restaurant and turn left, through a couple of barbed wire fences across a field, through a ditch and there it is. As close as you can get to the track without actually being in the middle of the road. We sat there watching the cars flash by at 200mph with our chins on the armco. This lasted for about half an hour until a marshal on the other side of the track with torch pointed us out to Les Coppeurs who chased us off.

Is that the one halfway between Arnage and Indianapolis? Got a couple of good long exposure pics of the car going past there at 12pm! I fell in the ditch - was still picking out thorns from my legs 3 days later. Next time, take a torch!

What am I say? I mean halfway between Arnage and Porsche Curves!

Indianapolis inside the circuit was a great spot too, despite being turned back twice by the same plod car.

We (the Brit marshalling team at post 106) saw a speccy (dressed in cammo gear?) in the ditch drivers right sometime between 2 & 4 am - woz it u?
Other than that we just had a couple of blokes stroll out the forest during the historic race - they was a bit pissed off to be told that there only option was to turn around and go back the way they came.
Ye'll get no sympathy from us...we like our wee bit of the track kept nice and quiet.
