Toyo Proxes T1Rs are fine - if you think they're too cheap send me the difference
245/45ZR16s on the rear are fine
255/50ZR15s on the front are too wide - try 225/50ZR15s or upgrade to 225/45ZR16s on 16" wheels at the front.

I run Toyo Proxes 245 back and 225 front on a PAS car. Find the 245s on the rear help it off the line a bit. Wouldn't go for tyres based on price though; check the many reviews and opinions and there are only a few options that are regularly recommended, the Proxes being one of them and SP9000 another. Just let your insurance company know if you change to Proxes as they are a lower speed rating. Usually this does not seem to be a problem. BTW the Toyos are excellent in the wet IMHO.

Somebody has done this recently and said they they do rub on full lock slightly but I'm sure they're fitted to some cars. Search some of the other threads as there was quite a lenghtly one on it only a couple of weeks ago.

As I said, have 225 on front and no problems with rubbing. Isn't this what Steve Heath's bible recommends for certain PAS chims?

I had some 225 50 15's on the front and they caught on the battery box on full lock, I also found they made the front of the car heavy on steering. I have just put on 205 50 15 and 245 45 16. I need to adjust the front dampers as the front has dropped a few milimetres and scapes on speedhumps, but overall like the feel.
I went for 205 50 rather than 205 55 as I wasn't keep on the larger profile tyre on aesthetic grounds.

Hi everyone,

At the corners (both dry & wet),provided that the road temperature is below 30C, T1R is far better than most of the top performance tyres.

For any road temperatures of above 30C, your original S-02 would give better grip & control.
