best deal on a Disco 3
Discussion
What sort of deal have Pistonheads people got that they feel has been a good deal from a landrover dealer, ie ones that did the best cut and deal.
Keen on getting a Disco 3 HSE, probably a year old. Keen to know the more open minded and flexible ones as may well buy from them.
be keen to hear of any other incentives that made you go with the dealer you did.
Thanks

You'll never get a particularly good deal off a LR main agent as they have to try and keep used values high.
If you can stretch to new, motorpoint.co.uk have unregistered brand new HSE's to drive away for £37,999 and LR dealers will do you one for £40,373 via broadspeed.com. I've personally bought vehicles from both so can recommend them from experience.

Per my previous posts - I have found that Derby were willing to knock money off simply from an email, sheffield is like blood from a stone etc....
BUT I am looking at S and XS models - there are a lot moe SE and HSE models out there due to early models only being the high spec. So you might have more success with discounts on those models. thre are hardly any private sales out there. I found that south dealers are more expensive, certainly Harwoods are asking more than midlands/north dealers. Motorpoint seems a good bet if you are already considering a 1 yr old HSE. Manual models are more likely to be discounted (but clearly 99% of HSEs are auto as they come that way!)

Where did you see that ? Can't find it on Auto Trader or their own web site...Stornoway Grey XS + PTI, Privacy 2007 (may) 3100miles - £26800
It may not be for sale any more.....http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Yep same experience - I bought an XS today. The HSE has too many toys, the SE about right. The XS is less so but enough for wife n kids.
I reckon I got the dealer to below private price today. But the XS's were well prived in many dealers in the first place (as LR had given them loads to shift to reach targets).
