M4 J10-12 SPECs seem to have gone

This might be news to some, but coming back from 10-12 tonight (then back from 12-11 and back again to 12) I could see no sign of the SPECS cameras - not just the cameras disappeared but the whole gantry. They had lanes 2/3 closed eastbound by J12, and a line painting/burning machine out on carriageway so methinks they're about to move the "communications upgrade" works which have been there since spring, down a notch to J13/12.

Communications Upgrade - so they can tell you that you're sitting in a jam, and that the average speed is 40mph when you're stationary. Hmmm.
