Have to say, have loved every day of the picaday, and its cool having a new desktop pic daily.

We must be quite close to the year now though ?

What am I meant to do for a desktop from then on ??

2 weeks wobble

My D2X is falling apart even more than me. Apature & Speed priority have packed up now.

I heard from Matt yeaterday - he's being Mr web designer 23 hours a day and drinking for the other hour.... thus has no time for this dusty corner of the net.

Thankfully, it'll be two weeks till the end of posting of substandard pictures, boring landscapes and the day to day tedium of living in the Highlands.

Only kidding - there could be a hint of jealousy in this post... rolleyes

Grays haven't phoned me yet... so don't know. But I'm having serious doubts about the D3 as most of my decent glass will become redundant frown I may well get the D2X serviced and live with that for a year... considering it cost me £3,500 30 months ago and you can now pick up one for £800 - I might hang on and see which way the wind blows.

I think 800 for a decent nick d2x is a little optomistic . . . ~1200 private sale and the shops are still selling at 1500 . . .

There are a lot of people in the same boat ref dx lenses, some more stressed out than others . . .

There are two new lenses on the cards also . . . announced at the same time IIRC . . . which may be interesting . . .

Was recently offered a friend's ProJournoPhotog son's (stay with me!) well used (as you can imagine) D2h for £600 (which was what he was being offered trade against a new D200)... so D2x's have surely got to be still in the ballpark Fergus says.

Still prob my 'dream camera' for now cool
