OK lots of picture doing the rounds at the moment I got these sent to me and they look genuine most Pics.

Although I have already seen most of them on NASIOC and other USA & Canadian sites

Its no doubt a very capable car, but damn its fugly, it looks like an Astra VXR and a Mazda 3 have mated and had a strange looking sprog.

There are times i see it and love it and other times i look at it and it doesnt work for me.

I just keep thinking, lowered, new splitter, im not one for doing chav things but tint the rear lights and new exhaust with rolled pipes to make it stand out.

Two rumours going around that aren't too far away alledgely

1) The UK car may have the WRC (WRC Frankfurt concept)type front bumper.

2) UK peeps hate the chav, Lexi, gay, silver and sh1te rear lights(not keen on then either), so Subaru UK wanted to fit Red style one. But Japan were insisting they do not change them.

ALL Subaru's need lowering by 25-30m also I'd say after driving the first S-GT in the country on 17"s, 18's" wheels are a MUST

Agreed, though, I'm seeing an old Rover mated to a civic. {shudders violently}

Not just the UK that hates them! NZ got a better nose treatment but we still have to put up with those rear lights so it seems they're not very willing to change them.


Also talking about the national divisions not being allowed to change things, apparently Mitsi NZ wanted to sell the new Lancer as a Galant because its so much bigger than the old one and is actually closer in size to the Galant than any of the previous Lancerers, but the idea was vetoed by Japan (probably because they want to work off the Evo image/history despite it being quite a different car.)

1) USA reckon 18" as standard, we'll see
