Look on the universal web site, xjr's come up regularly, i bought a 2001 with 77k for £1850 last month, that's for a complete car. You can always sell the bits you don't want.

When my timing chain tensioners went last year, totaling my engine, the specialist I use were able to get a new engine from the factory which satisfied the warranty. Cost of the engine was just under £5k, then there was labour on top etc.

I wouldn't go that route again due to the value of the cars now, but just thought I'd let you know it is possible.
