I recall Road Angel used to do a camera alert system that could be updated over the phone. Anyone know if that or any other is still available.

A neighbour wants a system but doesn't have a PC for the updates.

Road Angel 9000 is the only one I'm aware of - uses GPRS to update 24 hrs a day.

The 'new' road angel (the oval shaped ones) have an option of a modem for phone updating. I use one as the RA database updates are not mac-friendly. Also easy to take on holiday too. Check the RA web site in the accessories bit.

My old Snooper one did this. I've still got it somewhere. I should probably put it on ebay. Are they worth anything? I bought it in 2004, don't know if it will even still work?
