I think i have tracked down the cause of my noisy drivers door window. There was a split all the way from where the mirror mounts, all the way down to nearly the bottom of the door. I took a very fine slitting disc and cut along the crack and filled with resin. Once i had sealed this up, i up ended the door and poured resin down inside the door. I then stuffed fibre glass into it after poking it in with welding wire. The crack was not really visible with the door on but could be felt if you ran your finger along the inside. Where i would imagine they bond the two halves together originally.Just have to refit the door, oh and my Diff and gearbox too!
