Hi
We are looking to purchase an X5 3.0d sport from our local main bmw dealership.

Please can anyone tell us the costs of inspection 1 and 2 service etc at a local main dealer. The car has around 22k miles so not sure when next service would be due or what it would be.

Cheers
x

Wow thats alot for just an oil service isn't it. Any idea how much the inspection 1 and 2 is?

Still trying to work out whether to get the X5 or if the running costs are too high.

Yes but did include the bi-annual brake fluid change. But BMW dealers do know how to charge because
a vehicle like this has to have a full BMW service history when it's time to sell.

Oh right so that made it cost alot more did it.

I will have to ring up tomorrow and enquire about inspection 1 and inspection 2 service costs. I'm afraid inspection 2 will be fortunes

Doesn't sound like any more than a 3 series or any other BMW though...Same amount of oil as 3 but maybe more brake fluid? Same labour surely.

Do they maybe not need diff oil changes or anything else that makes it more exoensive than say a 5 series to run?

Virtually the same as a 3 series. If the x5 is over 3yrs old just take it to an indepedent bmw specialist - better service, same parts but cheaper smile
