Difficulty logging on

Over the last week it has sometimes been dificult to actually get the main Pistonheads.com site to open, explorer just hangs and waits.....

No trouble getting in using the old Petrolheads.co.uk URL though.

Both URLs are directed at exactly the same page so I'm a bit stumped as to why there should be any problem. Not saying I don't believe you (typical PC support response ), just that I'm not sure where to start looking for such a problem!

Could this be a DNS cache problem?
I happened on an article about this tonight.
A little check on Google noted some wanting to purge their DNS chache?
Am I close?
