csr dry sump how do you check the oil level

just got the car not sure how to check oil can any one help thanks

Car should have come with a dipstick to use in the belltank.

yes it has but do you check with engine running can you explain how to carry out thanks

Check with engine hot, immediatly after switching engine off.

thanks for that how far up the stick as there seems to be oil still up a lot of the stick

make sure the oil is on the rough edge, as it will stick to the smooth side of the dipstick as you bring it up the tube.
