A heads up for those of you who get meeces in your garage. The little bar stewards are on the move to find somewhere cosy for the winter.

I've just fished one out of the poison trap I keep down all year and I've found another in the draw I keep my polishing cloths which I'm just now trying to tempt to stick his head into a trap with a bit of Mars bar.

Ever since I had to hoover about a kilo of bird food out of the engine compartment of my Cosworth, I keep selection of mouse traps in the garage.

My trap's instructions say to replace bait with peanut butter smile

A Mars Bar's way too good to waste on a rodent ffs!

But if he did he'd probably drag an ostrich through the cat flap!

That's one big fekking cat!

You get headless presents, we tend to just get the heads on the floor. Often wondered whether mounting all of the heads on a board and sending it to the Tate or Turner prize as a piece of modern art would qualify me as the next Damien Hurst. Their faces are a picture and certainly tell a thousand agonising words.

My garage got rat infested a couple of years back. Scummy fcuks.

Ate their way through tents, fishing gear e-type wiring and more. However, they are actually more hygenic that meeces, as they use a communal toilet (I don't mean complete with spare toilet paper dolly!), whereas mice pee and plop anywhere.

Anyway, I've got poison strategically placed all over the place, and the cat visits the roof of the car at least twice a week for a mid-morning snooze.

TVR spends most of it's life at TVR Power so no worries there. Sits in drive rest of the time.

Well, 24hrs later I checked the trap tonight and I've caught the dirty little bleeder woohoo

It seems they DO like Mars bars after all.

I photographed it for posterity and I think I'll put it on the wall in the garage as a warning to other meece hehe

Ah but the real problem Barreti is that you have a pre-cat which is why they weren't scared off in the first place. smile

Although seriously the little sods will chew through anything and can get in through the most unbelievably small holes and gaps.

Strike #3 this morning and #4 this evening

The mars bar was still there when I caught #4 so I might have completed my ethnic cleansing wink
