Hi guys

My pride and joy is misbehaving at the moment and ask the pistonheads oracle whats wrong

The right hand bank seems to be out of tune and is backfiring through the inlets,(particulally number one cylinder), The left hand bank seems to be running ok

It is as if the ignition timing is miles out on the right hand bank

Any suggestions as to what is wrong? and what checks can i do to fault find the parts

TIA

Betty

Its running rough right through the rev rage (well up to 4000 revs anyway, thats as far as i have dared take her)

The other thing is that the right hand exhaust gets stinkin hot

I've even been tempted to swear at her,but am frightened I might make things worse

Glowing exhaust could be blocked cat or screwed lambda, not sure if a blocked cat would cause the whole bank to go funky, but a lambda could.

For some reason she's started running normally now so I still dont know what was wrong, I'm guessing it must have got water in some electrical connection or other

Happy days
