Europewide with good battery life

I am, for the first time, going to buy a Satnav, but my requirements are a bit different. I have two cars with no cigar sockets and one that is positive earth (old Jaguars) plus the everyday dustbin which it'll work fine in. I do about 8,000 miles a year all over Europe in the classic cars. So for rallying etc. I need one with a good battery life that I can recharge overnight at a hotel or wherever. Any ideas? Hellfrauds hadn't got a clue when i went in; "Doh, never been asked that question". Price isn't the main consideration. I don't need bluetooth, just a good satnav with a good sized screen and above all, good battery life.
